I don't know that the situation is that bad in the States. We're having problems with illegal immegrants, drug dealers etc. too and it's getting worser every day.
So do you have every visit Europe? UK, Austria, Italy and of course Spain are beautiful places for people interested in architecture.

The oldest buildings here were constructed in the mid to late 17th century. I suppose you are correct in terms of national parks, etc, but my love of architecture has me more interested in Europe, the old motte and bailey castles and places such as that. The national parks of Arizona, Texas and California have become too dangerous for most folks to visit with drug smugglers running the land, land owned by farmers who have abandoned it to keep from being killed. Humans can suck sometimes.

No I think the States have some impressive parts too. I think Yellowstone National territory, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountains, of course Alaska, the big cities like LA, LV, NY, DC and of course New England must be very impressive.

Thanks for your picture comments. Well, I'm not that rich. I'm just booking very cheap flights (eg flying to Amsterdam via three different airlines) and sleep in hostels Winking

Tunisia sounds good but paying a ticket from the US to Tunisia would be a little bit too much for me. But I really would enjoy the journey. Winking
